The Washington State Auditor's Office has given the District an Accountability Audit in May 2014. This Accountability Audit was given as the completion of the District's Accountability Audit given in 2010. In the audit given in 2010, the Washington State Auditor's Office found that as a result of inadequate and/or improper administrative policies and procedures which occurred during the prior administration, there has been shortcomings in the District's operations. The District is pleased to report that the shortcomings in the District's operations have been resolved, and that the District's internal controls are adequate to safeguard public assets. The District is in compliance with state laws and regulations, as well as its own policies and procedures.

Clark County Cemetery District #4 is committed to high standards of conduct by and among the board and employees in the performance of their duties.
As public stewards we believe we must have high ethical standards and be accountable and transparent to the public.
The Current District Administration and Staff acknowledge as a result of inadequate and/or improper administrative policies and procedures which occurred during the prior administration, there has been shortcomings in the District operations. The current administration, including Board and Staff, are diligently working to correct the identified shortcomings and to prevent any future irregularities in District operations.
